MDL Beast 2024 | Riyadh | Saudi Arabia

MDL Beast Festival: Stage Design and Technical Workflow Overview
At the MDL Beast Festival in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Vision Factory UK was responsible for the stage design and operational management of all Underground Stages. My role focused on the largest stage, which featured a particularly complex fragmented LED wall layout, presenting unique technical challenges.
Technical Approach and Workflow
The fragmented LED panels posed a unique challenge, not just in their irregular layout, but in aligning the visual content with the festival’s distinct 8-bit theme. Using TouchDesigner, I adapted multiple live camera feeds to match the retro CRT aesthetic, carefully designing visuals that complemented the Tetris-style panel arrangement. This approach ensured that the content maintained both thematic consistency and a dynamic, real-time response to the stage environment.
Additionally, I implemented custom light boxes within TouchDesigner. These allowed the lighting team to take over control of each LED panel’s RGB values and Intensity settings, enabling synchronized lighting and visuals without the need for constant manual adjustments.

Bonusz 2024 | Budapest | Hungary

At the Bónusz Festival 2024 in Budapest, I was challended with an imposing 50-meter-wide LED wall with an 8:1 aspect ratio and an exceptionally high resolution. The sheer scale and unique dimensions demanded a tailored approach to both content design.
Technical Parameters and Challenges
The ultra-wide aspect ratio presented significant design challenges, as standard visual formats could not simply be scaled or reused. To meet these demands, I crafted custom ultra-wide animations that seamlessly adapted to the LED wall’s specific proportions and resolution, ensuring a clear and immersive visual experience across the entire screen.

Bushido Tour 2024 | Germany
Visual Design for Bushido Tour 2024 – 3D Animation and Stage Integration
For the Bushido Tour 2024, I designed and directed the Bushido’s Visuals tailored to the stage design. The visuals featured custom-built 3D environments, dynamic motion graphics, and synchronized elements designed to align seamlessly with the lighting and overall stage architecture.
Bushido, one of Germany’s most influential rappers, is known for his direct lyrical style and significant impact on German hip-hop culture. The visual content was created to complement his performance style, ensuring clarity and cohesion across every segment of the show.
